Nebraska

Did you know on March 1, 1867 Nebraska became the 37th state?

Nebraska is nicknamed the Cornhusker state because it is the leading grain producer.  The capital of Nebraska is Lincoln.  The state flower is the goldenrod and the state bird is the Western Meadowlark.

Fred Astaire and Marlon Brando are both from Nebraska, so are Warren Buffet and Vice-President Richard Cheney.  The population of Nebraska is estimated to be over 1.8 million people.  Nebraska houses 87 state parks and 93 counties.
